The people of Pharos Offshore Group really rose to the challenge in May 2009 by raising a magnificent £1,926.32 for three charities in the RBS ‘2 + 2 for 3’ challenge. Two RBS staff, Karen Parry and Gordon Watson with their spouses Charlie Parry and Eleanor Watson, made up a team of three walkers & one driver to raise funds for three worthwhile charities:
Oakhaven Hospice Trust
Wessex Cancer Trust
Wessex Heartbeat
Eleanor Watson acted as the backup support to Karen, Charlie and Gordon as they walked the 95 mile long!! West Highland Way between the 1st and 7th June 2009. |
