DF Hydraulic Consultants Ltd has been involved in numerous cable laying projects resulting in the laying of approximately 100,000km of cable worldwide since 2004. The majority of these projects have been in conjunction with Tyco Telecommunications Ltd (Now TE SubCom Ltd). Offshore projects involving installation of cabling within Europe:
DF Hydraulic Consultants Ltd has been involved in projects both in the telecommunications field with Tyco during the Danice Pre Lay Grapple Run (PLGR), and more recently within the Windfarm industry when in July 2010 Pharos Offshore Group successfully entered into an agreement with CT Offshore Denmark to provide the manpower, skills and expertise to lay the cables for the Thanet Offshore Windfarm. Below are some pictures of the results of the PLGR and the Windfarm.

One of DF Hydraulic Consultants Ltd's men (Mr B. Ritchie) was assigned to Alcatel aboard the vessel Isle d Rae due to his level of expertise to overhaul and operate the Traction Winch. |

DF Hydraulic Consultants Ltd were involved in the Design & Manufacture of the Shore End Plow (SEP) in partnership with IHC. This equipment was then leased to Tyco Telecommunications until they finally took ownership at the end of 2009. The SEP is operated aboard the Tyco vessel Teneo. DF Hydraulic Consultants Ltd still has the main components of a second SEP stored in Baltimore. |
